Concert with City of London Sinfonia

Sunday, 5th June 2011 at 7.30pm Central Theater, Chatham Karen Geoghegan, a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music gained national acclaim for her performances and warm personality in the BBC’s Classical Star competition in 2008. She plays Mozart’s playful bassoon concerto in this concert which also features much-loved works by Edward Elgar and Schubert and an engaging set of folk song arrangements by eccentric composer Percy Grainger on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his death.
